Leslie Bostrom is primarily interested in painting, printmaking, and drawing. She describes her current work as anti-landscapes with incorporation of industrial components.
Leslie received a B.A. from the University of Maine and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She led the Pembroke Seminar at Brown on the topic “Visions of Nature” for the 2008-2009 season. In 2002 she was awarded the Soloman Grant for research from Brown University and in 1997 was awarded Robert and Nancy Carney Assistant Professorship among other awards. Her work has been exhibited internationally in galleries in Australia, South Korea and across the United States, most recently at the Brenda Taylor Gallery in New York.
